Azucena has worked on my wardrobe for the last 6 years and I would never wish to work with anyone else on altering, changing and re-energising my clothes. She has tremendous patience and her work is very meticulous.
After your own wedding, your daughters wedding is one of the most important days of your life. The
stress of finding an outfit that you love and makes you look fantastic, that your husband and daughter
will like and that hits the right note of glamour and elegance is huge. Two months before the wedding
and I was no nearer to finding the perfect dress so when a friend recommended Gill Davies it was the
fashion lifeline I needed. Due to the timing of finding a summer outfit which fitted the bill at the end of
season when the choice was minimal Gill recommended working with her and Azucena Cruz who she
works with for all her Bespoke and tailoring requirements. Between them they came up with the perfect
dress, Gill creating the intial design and Azucena providing her brilliant dress making knowledge to
ensure it would work, fit and be comfortable to wear. Azucena is both warm and easy to work with aswell
as being very concientious about her work through all steps of the process. The end result was a dress
I loved and I can’t wait to wear again, the pictures say it all.
I met Azucena 3 years ago and since then she has produced many beautiful made-to-measure original pieces for me which are immaculately made. She can produce anything and always adds her original touch and ensures it suits my taste, style and figure. I have assembled a collection of fabulous clothes that look as if they were made by top designers, but I believe that they are better quality. I used to buy a lot of designer clothes but now I rely on Azucena to make nearly all my clothes as I know they will be a perfect fit for me, beautifully made with top quality fabrics.
In addition, she has transformed my wardrobe, modernizing treasured yet out of date pieces and bringing a contemporary touch which has given them a new lease of life from winter coats in leather and fur, reshaping cashmere jumpers to beachwear kaftans and jeans. She has a fabulous eye for what works best for me in terms of colour, style and fabric. She is a designer, seamtress, pattern cutter and fashion advisor all in one. I couldn’t recommend her highly enough. She is every fashionista’s dream!
